10 Downing Street just opened its own YouTube account, making Blair the first world leader to embrace online video. The account was activated six days ago.

PM congratulates Sarkozy on French election win It's more important than ever before that Britain and France work closely together, Tony Blair has said as Nicolas Sarkozy won the French presidential election. In special messages recorded in both English and French, and available to watch on the new Downing Street YouTube channel, the PM offers his congratulations to the President-elect.

So courageous Tony starts this as he's on his way out the door?

Pardon me if I sound unimpressed.

On the other hand, maybe GWB could learn something from this approach. Oh, never mind, the MSM would never let any of us forget it.
