Tehran, 8 May (AKI) - Zeinab Peighambarzadeh, a young women's rights activist, was arrested on Monday evening.
She had been summoned by a judge for questioning over her participation in a rally in March in support of other activists who were standing trial for taking part in a demonstration demanding equal rights for women last June.
The activist was arrested at the court after questioning.
Peighambarzadeh, who is currently detained at Tehran's Evin prison, is also a leading member of the campaign demanding legislation promoting equal opportunities for women.
They are too busy listening to their own vagina monologue!

Simply being identified as a women’s rights activist is a death sentence.
Not to worry however, Nancy Pelosi is going to have a talk with them, I hear. I am sure she will straighten things out.

Think about it. These are some of the top feminist leaders. What do they have in common. They’re ALL OLD and somewhat ugly.
The young today probably join us in our collective shudder when thinking that this is who the feminist leaders are today.
A collection wrinkled hags filled with inflated sense of self importance and hate. They’re rotting from the hate from inside out and are desperately seeking new personal products to cover the stench.
Nancy “Knees” Pelosi is surely soon to dialogue in her mini-skirt. She did wonders for the world with her Syrian visit. She knows she’s on a roll. She has demonstrated her power over our commander-in-chief. One look at her legs, and Ammmmahjjjwhatever will see the errors of decision.
Praying for a miracle for this brave woman.
This is going to go over big with the younger iranian population. Some of the things I have read suggest they are our best ally- they LOVE the US and do not like their leadership.
A great OPPORTUNITY if you ask me.
