And it frequently doesn't pay when a claim is filed. Long term care underwriters have an atrocious reputation on honoring policies.

Disability insurance is inexpensive Well, it varies by the industry you work in, but my disability insurance (through my employer) costs about $50 per month for this overweight 44-year-old.
