Switching allegiances One-time Clinton basher becomes a key defender

BY GLENN THRUSH Newsday Washington Bureau

September 7, 2006

... SNIPPET - Kelly Craighead, one of the Clinton's closest friends, served as one of Brock's top advisers during Media Matters' formation in 2004. She was paid as part of a $202,781 contract with her husband, Erick Mullen's, consulting company, tax records obtained by Newsday show.

Brock, whose group is committed to media accountability, declined to comment for this story and didn't return repeated calls. Mullen and Craighead didn't return calls.

Craighead - whose 2001 marriage ceremony in California was performed by Sen. Clinton, acting as a justice of the peace - now serves as a top adviser to the Democracy Alliance. That group, which advises Democratic donors on where to spend their political contributions, has steered more than $6 million to Brock's group in the past two years, say alliance members.

If anyone has pictures of Brock and Hillary shopping together that would make it a lock that Media Matters is a Clinton stalking horse.

We are expecting arguments before the California Appellate Court (regarding bringing Hillary back in as a defendant) sometime during the summer. A decision is expected in early August. Then, the fun begins with discovery. Hillary Rotten Clinton, raise your right hand!

Media Matters is a Soros enterprise.

Ergo, has Soros bought Fat Bottomed Girl by having MM do the dirty work?

I was in the courtroom last October when Judge Aurelio Munoz said that he would entertain no motion to keep Hillary from testifying. He then looked at David Kendall and said, “Did you hear that, Mr. Kendall?” Yes, the witch is going to be under oath.

Speaking of the witch, if any of you would like to go here and ask a question about BROOMSTICK ONE, I’d love a shot to attack her with the answer — http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220110055792&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1

In Massachusetts at least (yeah, I know) anybody can get a one-day permit to perform a particular legal wedding ceremony.

I know because two of our friends got married eight or nine years ago, and they asked my wife to get the permit so she could officiate at their wedding. She was very happy to do it, and it was a touching ceremony.

The bride is a lawyer, and she was the one who found out that it was possible to do this.

I'm assuming this type of thing is allowed in other states as well.

Craighead had a high position in the Clinton administration before she became the head of Hillary’s advance team for 2000.
