why did Rush think it was baseless?

What does he know that the beekeepers don’t?

Plus we don’t have a chance.

I can not understand that spelling. I used spell check and it missed it and posted 2 times. I think I had better got off the computer for a while. Odd things are happening. I do not even know what kind of flowers he planted. They just have blooms on them!

I was reading a 'net article about a week ago, blaming - dig this - CELLPHONES for the bee die-offs. They think radiation from the phones cause the bees to lose their navigational capabilities, and can't find their way back to the hive. I bet Ted Kaczynski is penning love letters to these guys.

"Large bee losses are not unheard of. They have been reported at several points in the past century."

No need to fear nature's patterns.

Not sure about the cause, but here in PA I haven't seen one Honey Bee on any of my bushes, plants or trees. Everything has been flowering like crazy but zero honey bees.

This is the first year I have seen it this way. Used to have to avoid the bushes during the day because of all the bees. Also heard that the wild bees have been gone for a couple of years now, anyone confirm or deny this?

In light of the poison gluten and rice right now, I’m not going to pooh-pooh GMO’s being at least a culprit.

sometimes I hit “post” and the screen does nothing - I hit “post” again and wind up with a double post.

Find out what flowers they are and plant some more!

“how do you propose we pollinate our crops?’

How do you?

BTW the whole premiss of this is based on Bravo Sierra.

Uh, it was after talking to beekeepers.

I just saw a story on the local news about a bee infestation at someone's home here in Central Texas.

I just remembered something. Before my husband died last July, he bought me a jar of honey which was made by someone in the neighborhood. I wonder if the bees I saw were from his hive. I do not know his name or even where he lives.

How about a crash-program - mandate that everyone in the US maintains a hive in their backyard or apartment, if possible. Heck, the bees do all the work. What could possibly go wrong?

Based on what? Rush is a smart guy, but he's not Mr. Science.

Your spell check didn’t miss it-”hardener” is a real word and you spelled it correctly. Is the spell check supposed to know you meant “gardener”?

I saw those reports also. Like the Navy’s very low radio transmissions disrupting whales and other living things. God only knows what effects changes make? Hopefully the honey bees will bounce back. I believe that cell phones are a scourge. All the school kids sitting in class day in, day out texting their friends. Phone to ear 24/7. Can’t be a good thing. Causes brain cancer....and kills bees. Aaargh!
