“If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” said Sohail Mohammed, a lawyer who represented scores of detainees after the Sept. 11 attacks. “But when the government says `Islamic militants,’ it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous.”

“Don’t equate actions with religion,” he said.

(from the foxnews article above.)

“The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.”2

Illegal aliens are invaders. For some insane reason this country is giving them special perks that encourages more of the to come here. Border Patrol agents who try to stop them are severely punished.

get after your very own local or state government

Oklahoma just took a giant leap in addressing the problem of illegals. Maybe other states will follow, en masse.

Houston Chronicle ^ | May 9, 2007, | TIM TALLEY
OKLAHOMA CITY — Gov. Brad Henry signed an immigration bill Tuesday that tightens employment standards to prevent illegal immigrants from finding work. Henry called the legislation, passed overwhelmingly by the House and Senate, a stopgap measure to deal with an illegal immigration problem that is the responsibility of the federal government. "States can take some actions on their own, but until the U.S. Congress enacts a comprehensive, national immigration policy, citizens will see little progress on this issue," he said. The measure requires state and local agencies to verify the citizenship and immigration status of applicants for state or local...

My state. I’m pretty proud of it this evening, and I honestly thought our democRAT governor would veto this one.

Not really relavent to the basic story, but I found this sort of "interesting".

The restaurant's chef, Joseph Hofflinger, 35, quit after learning the owner was the father of one of the suspects.

"My son is in the 82nd Airborne," Hofflinger told ABC. "I won't work for a place that supports terrorism so I'm out."

#5 with a son in the 82nd? So how old was Mr. Hofflinger when he had this son? 16, 17 *maybe*?

why did they never accept Reagan’s amnesty?

I don't know about these men but back then, same as now, a lot of illegals didn't want the amnesty...and didn't care to be American citizens.

Alright, question for you - why did they never accept Reagan’s amnesty?

They were kids at the time. Likely their father didn't trust the amnesty, and didn't want to "be on a list". The oldest, 6 in '84 would have been at most 8 or 9 when the amnesty period ended. The father was probably only about 25 or 26, and had likely been in the country only a couple of years. Living under Marshall Tito wouldn't have inspired great confidence in government and law enforcement types.

We should demand that the Federal Government withhold federal funding to all "Sanctuary" Cities, now!

That would be nice, but it would just drive those already here deeper underground. Or to self activation.

Either way, we'll need to be well armed when these "time bombs" go off. A military base, especially one with mostly reserve and guard troops, was actually a good choice, once you get past the rent a cop on the gate, almost no one is armed, except for a few MPs and DoD police. The rest would be less armed than would be the case off post, even in New Jersey, let alone nearby rural Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee or Vermont.

What is significant is that this means that they were radicalized in the US!

Perhaps they got their cue to proceed with jihad from Slick Willie when he went to Bosnia and dedicated a monument to AL QAEDA!

Clinton dedicates monument to alQaeda fighters in Bosnia

Ok, I fully realize that this website is very pro-Serb and thus not at all objective. But pictures DO NOT lie. In 2003, Clinton was in Bosnia and did dedicate a monument written in Arabic that was dedicated to alQaeda fighters in Bosnia! Also note, neither Serbs, Bosnians nor Albanians ever use arabic script. This was clearly dedicated to foreign ie alQaeda fighters.

Good grief. Probably funded by the Saudis...I have read that there are well-funded Wahabbis running all over the Balkans now, and an Arabic monument would certainly look like their work. Not that Bill would care.

“Vote Duncan Hunter to secure the border. And deport Illegals.”

I would certainly do so but please remember it will also take a Congress that has the guts to do it.

Yes, but it only takes the CIC to enforce the current, largely un-enforced laws agianst the aliens and the employers. Believe me,, Hunter being in charge will quickly discourage this law breaking.

Alright, question for you - why did they never accept Reagan’s amnesty?

Might be because you had to live here for 5 years before you could take it? Then again what do I know I was only born in 83, though unlike some I do read my history.

Yep. The invasion is what I believe was the primary reason Republicans lost in 2006. Those May Day marches last year pushed me over the edge (I still voted for Santorum though...)

You've got THE PLAN - now if only we could get the spineless, ignorant politicians to listen!

In a nutshell, it is as follows: 1. Illegal aliens have no standing in U.S. civil courts -- either as plaintiffs OR defendants. 2. Illegal aliens arrested for violent crimes will automatically have an additional felony for illegally entering the country -- which would carry a MANDATORY ten-year prison sentence in addition to any other sentence related to the crime -- added to the list of charges. 3. All criminal cases involving illegal aliens -- or, at a minimum, all felonies involving illegal aliens -- will be adjudicated by military tribunals. These people will be treated as prisoners of war, for all intents and purposes. A person who enters this country illegally and assaults someone isn't a "criminal" in any sense of the word . . . he's a freakin' invader.
