Flu pandemic?
I’d say they were preparing this nation for the first BIO
ATTACK.
The dark side of me wonders if we are going to use a (supposed) Avian Flu epidemic as cover for getting rid of millions of our enemies. Its a lot more PC than outright nuking them. I know it sounds like I wear a tin-foil hat, but my BS detector keeps on going off whenever I hear about this avian flu.
I work for a school system and during the past year we’ve had to put in place a pandemic emergency plan. It’s actually likely that if a case hits the states, the schools would totally shut down. Still waiting for specific state mandates.
It’s news like this which reminds me to continue to stock up on foodstuffs. It also keeps me grateful for living in a rural area with very little contact with my neighbors. I think of myself as safer than the average bear.
All major businesses have pandemic plans by now. First thing that will happen is that school will close - germy kids (including mine)... I work in the financial services industry and our industry is required to take it seriously.
Whether it’s flu pandemic or bio-terrorism doesn’t matter. The result is similar.
