Good idea! An effective thing is past election years is hold the event anyway, then leave an empty chair with their name on it. Invite all the press, etc. and embarrass the crap out of him. Put a dummie in a chair that looks like him with a blonde wig and pantyhose (shouldn't be hard to find). People could flip pennies down his custom made panties for his campaign!

You think like I do. Daughter was supposed to get married and cancelled 3 days before the event. Since everything was already planned and paid for we had a “Barbara and John Almost Got Married” party.
We disinvited his family/friends but ours had a great time!

Rudy must have discovered that a conservative lived in that county! Probably Juti wouldn't lower herself to actually enter a home worth less than a million dollars. Might break a nail or something.

Barbara and John Almost Got Married party. We disinvited his family/friends but ours had a great time! Now thats a great idea. They could celebrate the six marriages between Rooty and Jooty.

He certainly accomplished more than you or I ever have. He save one of the largest cities in the world. That’s not “a cheap little man.” You are a “cheap little woman.”

If I were her, I’d take them up on it. And when I got on stage and in front of several thousand I’d say, “This is the son of a bitch that thinks you ought have to pay for a pregnant woman to have her baby killed, Adolph Giuliani” and walk off the stage.

Yeah, that would really be a brilliant stroke.
If someone wants to go after Rudy on abortion, he or she shouldn’t sound like a jerk. It should be one of those “more in sadness than in anger” schticks. But that may be too sophisticated for a lot of our single-issue pro-lifers. Of course, some of them don’t want to win so much as they want to bytch and feel important.

You’re right it’s not cheap. Under Giuliani, it costed NYC $3 billion annually for their police force of 37,000 souls.
Removing 15% for administration leaves a force of about 31,500 officers at four shifts means at any time about 7800 police are available to patrol 300 sqare miles.
That leaves an officer density of 26 per square mile on any one shift at an annual personnel cost of $2.1 million/mile.
Shouldn’t the citizens of NYC rightly expected crime to have been diminished?

I normally do not get involved in this kind of thread; but only a liberal could truly believe this statement: "He save (sic) one of the largest cities in the world."

The job was a bit more complicated than hiring cops.
