“Tony said, ‘I’m sorry, you aren’t worth a million dollars and he is campaigning on the Death Tax right now.’ then he said they weren’t going to be able to come,” Deb continued.

This one smells funny.

No sympathy here for Deb and Jerry; You give money to liberals, you should expect to get burned.

This must be some of that “New York sensibility” that the Rudy supporters often said we commoners lacked, which kept us from appropriately judging what Rudy did and said.

I don’t understand why they don’t want to talk to normal people,” she concluded.

Okaaaaaaaaaayyyy! got my laugh for the day. When are these people going to figure it out......we really don’t count to politicians.

No wonder Rudy is pro-abortion, he does not like people very much.

Definitely. This is politically bad anywhere, but it’s an effing disaster in Iowa. Almost the worst place for this to happen. The culture there is very egalitarian, and proper behavior, especially in terms of respect, is a very big deal to Iowans.

I have been reading what the DUmmies have had to say for the past few days. They have noticed the threads on FR and are thrilled, thinking that this rejection of Rudy will give them a lock on the ‘08 election. I like that. It may be that the average DUmmie is totally clueless, but perhaps it is a general Dem view that without Rudy as standard bearer this early on....we have no chance. They do not see that it is WAY early yet, a long ways to go, and they will likely be stunned when it is shown that we actually get our s**t together well in time to trounce them come election day.

If I were her, I’d take them up on it. And when I got on stage and in front of several thousand I’d say, “This is the son of a bitch that thinks you ought have to pay for a pregnant woman to have her baby killed, Adolph Giuliani” and walk off the stage.
