So what? I know of at least 6, and 2 of them are the brattiest bullies I have ever met and will not permit my daughter to associate with them. Of course the parents thrive on their "better than anyone" attitudes, and like me, the rest of the homschooling parents do not let their children associate with those 2.
My anecdotal experiences are just as valid as yours - whether you like it or not.
My own son is a chubby homeschooler. It’s just a genetic thing. His father and uncle were the same way as children.

Perhaps others will notice the same. Perhaps someone with the curiosity and means will look into it.
I speculate that homeschoolers have far more opportunity for loosely supervised, daily, large muscle play. Homeschooling is very efficient and there are simply more hours available for play. Also, since they most often have stay-at-home moms, the TV, kitchen, and snacks are better controlled.
I also suspect that institutionalized child is more likely to have a mom with a job outside of the home. Perhaps babysitters are more likely to use food and TV as pacifiers.

I have. Do I get a prize? That is one of the most stupid comments in the history of FREEPERS. Homeschoolers are not these perfect little angels. They have the same problems as other kids. My God and yes some even get FAT! Geesh. We got it. Homeschool is a good thing. Nobody is disputing it. I will still send my kids to Catholic School as always, but that is just me.
