Didnt say whether it was good or bad.

Only saying I suspect the thinking behind it is greater control of what happens in the ENTIRE western hemisphere of travel. A sort of - dont just stop them from getting in here, increase the restrictions to get into central and south america by exerting more influence there.

But the control will be removed from our hands, and thus the government can be held blameless. You see, the terrorists slipped by lax (__________ pick a country of attribution) screeners. The screeners can say on the other hand, it is not our job to screen people in your country, and the regulators can stump for yet another law only the law abiding will follow.

The word which jumped out at me was "seamless", used three times to describe the movement of materials and persons, but implies without spearation requiring a seam. In other words, one unit.

And the "froggie" still thinks it is in a spa.

Of course, people are too busy worrying about fuel prices, or trying to pay their overrun credit to pay any attention...
