That is what happens to weak people.
He went from sitting front row at Bush campaign stops in Florida in 2004 to blowing sunshine up Mrs. Bill Clinton’s ass in 2007.
It’s the easy thing to do; say you’re a conservative to keep your job as the token at a liberal network. Once in a while, spout a conservative viewpoint, but mostly sing the tune of those who pay your salary.
Besides, he’s probably afraid Keith Olbermann will kick his ass if he doesn’t toe the line.
