I have no trouble saying that I have always found ALL food restrictions imposed on believers by ANY religion to be absurd. The ONLY restriction should be against McDonald’s, and KFC, which would be commonsensical, but of course , anti-libertarian. Let’s get real, for Chrissake, ( so to speak)/
I simply can’t get into anything so “symbolic”-—it makes me feel like a fool who is afraid to think for himself.
For the life of me, I still can’t figure out what it is that is so attractive to billions of people who are willing to be seduced by a concept, and have their behavior on this level (eating)defined by the strictures of this kind of thing .It seems to exist in some form or another within ALL religions

The truth about Acts 10:9-17 means that Peter was commanded by the Lord to not only accept gentles into the Christian Church but also to NOT IMPOSE any Jewish ritual laws on them since by the redeeming death on the Cross of Jesus took care of the penality of the Law.
