Jesus and his apostles said it is OK to eat pork, as well as to get rid of much of the Old Testaments laws. Jesus despised the Pharisees and their laws. The law to not eat pork came from their predecessors and not God. Jews still believe all of the Mosianic laws came from God. However, there was good reason for it, pigs carry a bacteria (can’t remember the name) that is harmless to them but if improperly cooked can harm or even kill humans. If well cooked or cured the bacteria is killed. The Romans and other cultures knew this and only ate well cooked pork.

Thats funny, Jesus said this about the Law.

Matt 5:17,18 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

The Law is valid now.
