Bags of cocaine are seen in a plaster cast on a woman's leg on this photo released by Dutch customs police on Friday, May 11, 2007. Dutch customs police stopped the woman trying to smuggle 1.5 kilograms (3.3 pounds) of cocaine into the Netherlands in a plaster cast on her leg, a police spokesman said. The woman, whose name was not released, acted nervously while her passport was being checked and agents became suspicious about the thickness of the cast. A sniffer dog quickly indicated that the cast contained more than plaster. The woman was taken to hospital, where an X-ray revealed the drugs but no fractures. The woman, from the Latin American country of Suriname, was arrested and will face smuggling charges. (AP Photo/ Dutch customs police)
The peace movement graduates from smoking pot to smuggling cocaine."
I didn’t think the Netherlands had laws against drugs. They didn’t years ago but maybe that’s changed.
Does this mean that the Europeans are coming to their senses—albeit much too late to save themselves?
Whoa. Purchase and comsumption for personal use . . . ok. Trafficking, smuggling . . . bad. BAD. Did I say bad? Very bad.
I’m figuring she was TYPE CAST....???
In any event the latest rumor is that she’s going to sue the guy who made the cast for reparations....
Seems she’s got a MASSIVE sinus headache from snorting plaster of paris for three days straight....!!!
In related news, Betty Grable insured her legs for a million dollars.
No word about any policy covering Democratic Senatrix cankles but it’s probably there, in the fine print.
Brings a whole new sense of urgency to the term “get well soon,” doesn’t it? :)
That cast is ridiculous. I wonder who convinced this mule that the Dutch customs agents would be fooled by that nonsense.

Usually, it’s booze that gets you plastered...
She’s the Big Door prize! ! !
I just flew into Amsterdam today from Spain and there was a drug dog on the jetway doing his job. In The Netherlands the government knows “good” drugs from the “bad” drugs. The good drugs are still allowed.
