...And, third, this investigation is being opened in the wake of misleading attacks on the purpose of the Cuba trip from a possible leading Republican candidate for president, Fred Thompson, a major conservative newspaper, The New York Post, and various right wing blogs...

All I can say is - If Mikey Moore is already including Fred into one of his delusional conspiracy theories... then Mr. Thompson just MUST be doing something right.
THEY ALL FEAR THE FRED!

His publicist told him it was OK, so it’s alright.

Everything that is Michael Moore is disproven by the current illegal immigration problem we are having. He can bring as many 911 rescuers he wants to Cuba, but in the end there are still millions of people trying and dying, literally, to get into the US.
People like Elian Gonzalezs mother who gave her life for her son, for her dream of her son living in freedom, but ultimately failed due to the liberal ideals Moore so embraces.

SURPRISE: Lefties don’t think the law applies to them, just conservatives.

Thompson has not announced he is running and Moore is striking out at him.
Moore and the Dems. love to use dead, injured and ill people to earn votes and make a quick buck.
Moore is unintelligent and an opportunist.
He will be nominated for an award by the entertainment industry for best documentary.
The Hollywood crowd will clap like a bunch of made of clowns, bow at the feet of Moore, and kiss the arse of Castro.

All I can say is - If Mikey Moore is already including Fred into one of his delusional conspiracy theories... then Mr. Thompson just MUST be doing something right. That's because a recent Fred column focused on Cuban Health Care (or lack thereof).
In case you missed it, here it is...

No wonder Mikey More Big-Macs is mad - Fred just handed his A$$ to him
Thanks for the link to the story, I hadn't read it. Still don't see any conspiracy or any call by Fred to have Moore investigated. Sounded like a debate about an issue...
Guess Mikey has a problem with free speech (big surprise) so does Castro.
To: jdm
I’d seen that one, actually I’ve seen all of them, and can say that when Fred tangles with either Hillary or Obama in the general its going to be a hoot.
He’s not going to run from a fight but is going to run right into one and ( hopefully ) out the other side.
