"Aeromexico and Mexicana, two of Mexico's largest airlines, are in discussions to fly in and out of Little Rock National Airport, said airport spokesman Philip Launius. The hope, Launius said, is that the airport would be the central hub for travel to Mexico from Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Tennessee."
How totally cool. Not only do we get poorly maintained Mexican trucks on our highways, but now we get their aircraft too.

I think Air Mexico uses DC-10's at least they did back in the 1970's, I remember seeing them as one of trhe featured prizes on "Let's Make a Deal" when I was a kid. When I think of this, I thought, "great, their planes are probably older than me." (I'll be 41 in July) B-P

TACA has been flying out of New Orleans since at least 1979. Took a flight to Belize then. No worst than a US airline then. Don't foreign carries have to meet the same standards as the US?
On the other hand, this announcement is an indication of the vast numbers and affluence of the Mexicans in those states.
