“Be damn careful when you talk third party”. You are right about the Ross Perot effect and any Republican would be better than Hitlery. However the Republicans do take their base for granted for exactly the reason stated above because where will people like you and I go ? Meanwhile the border stays wide open and this issue is too vital to leave unsolved any longer. Drastic times call for drastic measures. I would prefer if the conservative wing of the Republican party dealt with this issue but none of the top tier candidates have a strong policy on this issue. Romney is probably the strongest on this issue but we really need someone with a “Tancredo” take on immigration, a Duncan Hunter take on national security and a Romney take on economics and taxes.

If you really care about border issues, why don’t you give the people who are working on solving those problems any credit? Don’t you understand that there is no reward for this thankless work, because people like you say the same thing no matter what they do? It is counterproductive.
