Not only in Canada, but in Britain, where the overwhelming majority of physicians will not perform abortions.

Physicians, says Saporta, must put their patients' interest ahead of "their own religious and moral convictions." Does Saporta think they are slaves? Hmph!

Rudy will fix this. Can’t have any woman denied her “choice” because of someone’s moral tastes, now can we?

Go ahead you morons. When doctors of conscience refuse and you send them to prison or they quit practicing, what are you going to do with your already overtaxed, understaffed and lousy system of health care?

Canada - where the abortions are free, but the waiting list is 12 months.
I saw this some time ago on FR, but I can’t remember who to give credit to. It seems that the joke is close to the truth.

How about we let people who don’t mind taking a life doing the abortions.
Have convicted killers do it...They might even like being gainfully employed.

It has been estimated that one in ten babies in Europe is today conceived in an Ikea bed.I believe the same is true here. Most docs are not killers.

Physicians in America will be required by law to perform abortions if liberals get their way. Those who don’t will be dropped by insurance companies and the new liberal national healthcare.
In essence, if you don’t do what the government healthcare system demands, you will no longer receive reimbursement for any of your procedures.
Result: Many good physicians will switch to other professions and drop the practice of medicine altogether. It has already begun.

Wow, when we eliminate the Dr’s with a conscience...what will be left...Dr’s willing to kill. Hmmm just the Doc I want doing my surgery.

Physicians, says Saporta, must put their patients' interest ahead of "their own religious and moral convictions." Physicians caring for pregnant women have two patients, the mother and the baby. I don't believe Ms. Saporta really cares about either patient.

This will have unintended consequences. Canadian doctors can find employment in a host of medical fields outside Canada. Many vacation in Florida the last three months of each year. They just might stay here.

Compare this to the North Carolina doctors who refuse and threaten to blacklist any physician who takes part in a lawful execution. Their excuse is it violate their oath. Abortion violating any oaths, huh doctors?

Though abortion is technically legal in Canada up to the moment of birth, so many doctors refuse to do it that access to it is effectually restricted. They're just exercising their "right to choose." Deal with it, lady.

The group's solution: Require doctors by law to perform abortions whether they like it or not. Guess this "group" will have to do its own surgeries and heal its own illnesses then, as doctors will drop out of the profession in droves.
