Your post seems to reflect a belief in cultural relativism. The issue is based on starting points. The Poles have determined that the family is the starting point. This reduces all arguments to a basic social contract, the family.
Defining the family in its most basic and elemental form - a man, a woman and children - delineates pro family from anti family forces.
All we are saying is that abortion, homosexuality, pornography, atheism, socialism and sexual promiscuity are anti family. It is that simple.
All those influences have been around for hundreds of years and concern for the shrinking family was not an issue then. We have to look for another factor to explain a lower birth rate.
I probably was not clear. The experimentation that I had in mind was at the national level. Poland should do things the Polish way, as opposed to the EU way, or some other way.
