Al-Qaeda taunts US over captives [Aljazeera propaganda---don't search for your soldiers]

An Iraqi group linked to al-Qaeda has said that three US troops which it claims to have captured will be safe only if the army calls off its search for the missing men.

The Islamic State of Iraq, which works closely with al-Qaeda, issued the taunt - to which US spokesmen have not publicly responded - in a statement posted on a website on Monday.

"Your soldiers are in our grip. If you want the safety of your soldiers then do not search for them," the statement said.

US soldiers have appealed for local Iraqis to help them find the three missing soldiers

“..no leave security zone around the area, and search every god dam@ hovel in the area-level it if necessary.”

And what will be the next step when the soldiers’ bodies are found and everyone in the security zone claims to have no knowledge of what happened. This is where “friendly persuasion” would come in handy. Instead the troops are told to fight “fair”. What we need is a referee.

one wonders if al qaeda’s allies in the u.s. congress might be able to provide information as to the whereabouts of the missing american soldiers?

(democrats=irresponsible, adolescent, psychotic scu!bags....and the so-called “american electorate” voted for them.)

Time to show them what the US military is REALLY capable of.

I thought the Democrats had now told us that our soldiers would be treated nicely by those misunderstood Islamos because we were reforming GITMO. I guess the Al Q types just don’t want to be under SFNan’s ideology unless it absolutely defeats our military world wide and especially in Iraq and Afgh.

Exactly!

We can only hope & pray that we find them before it’s too late.

Even the Geneva conventions allow for the execution of POWs in retaliation for the enemy doing the same thing. If these three are harmed then 300 captured AQI should die, immediately.

I nominate Mike Savage as referee.

POW/MIA count is now at five, including SGT Maupin, and Ahmed al-Taie, a 41-year-old linguist.

I’m still unclear if this second name is a translator, or an actual US Army soldier. I haven’t seen anything that states his rank. One story said officer, another notes he is a Specialist. He can’t be both at the same time.

I can not imagine needing to remain calm and collected while searching for these soldiers.
