"My guess is that Rudy is sticking to his Pro Abortion stance based largely on a past history of a former lover of his having an Abortion.

Rooty hasn't been able to stick to much of anything. He is a better flip flopper than Jon Cary.

Planned Parenthood is most likely hoping for a Rooty win. Naral has given him a 100% rating.

Most of the FR Rooty Toots are probably also lavishing praise upon him.

Well - you might be right - and you might be wrong.

It’s still early and I know the fight will taken to Rudy hard.

It will be interesting to see how Brit Hume questions Rudy tomorrow night.

Or how the other candidates attack Rudy.

And - how he reacts to those attacks - which is really the measure of the man.

Tough when you’re in the lead.

Maybe he's just stabbed himself in the back of his head then had all his liberal brains sucked out?

Naw, that would result in an improvement.

“It’s encouraging to see that the front-runner for the Republican nomination for president supports the right to make personal private health care decisions free from government intrusion,” she said.

It’s not free from ‘government intrusion’ if our tax dollars are paying for it.

In 1999, NARAL in New York gave more money to Ghouliani than to Hillary. And, of course, Ghouliani has been the keynote speaker at NARAL events.

Meanwhile, Sean Hannity is on the air kissing his ass again.

Rudy continues his attempt at creating an insurmountable schism within the Republican party.
***Yup. He’s a real good republican, all right. /s

Why does the republican party need someone like this whose cold implementation of a political calculus is splitting the party?

Rudy continues to lead in all the polls.

Know why? Because there's a good percentage of Republican voters who are not conservatives at all. They're not the majority, but they seem to be about 20-30% of the voters. They support Rudy because all the other candidates are conservative. As a result, the various conservative GOP candidates split the vote of the Republican base, whereas Rudy keeps leading by taking the whole vote of the RINOs who despise conservative values.

But then, you probably know that . . . SINCE YOU ARE ONE OF THEM!

Won’t this hurt the feelings of the anyone-but-Hillary crowd?
***So does that mean that all those freepers who put in so much effort to deny such things are going to be coming back with apologies or are they going to just moveon.org and continue down the path of destruction with their cult-of-personality candidate?

If rudy loses the nomination and declares a third party candidacy, what will these supposed good republicans do? How much support do the rudybots think he would have in that instance?

Ok - I resemble that remark.

But if your numbers are correct - why does Rudy have a 65% favorable rating among all Republicans?

Some where your numbers fail.

And nationally Rudy takes between 45% and 52% of the popular vote.

Hmm

Giuliani is the most popular candidate in either party—62% now have a favorable opinion of him. McCain’s favorability ratings among all voters have also fallen to the lowest level yet measured--49%. Thompson and Romney are less well known, viewed favorably by 35% and 32% respectively. See updated favorability ratings and general election match-ups for all Republican and Democratic candidates.

Rudy will NOT run as a third party candidate.

Maybe you’ve not been listening - he has said that repeatedly.

Like it or not - he is a Republican - and is running as one.

The Republican who is likely to go third party is the current mayor of NYC.

***I’ve looked at a lot of things he has said repeatedly, and some of them have been straightforward lies. Why should I believe him on this one?

This is a dilemma crafted to counter the normal hogwash dilemma that some freepers continue to push, which is what IF rudy is the nominee... blah blah blah. I see that you did NOT answer the dilemma I posted. That would be on the same level of a freeper telling you that rudy is NOT going to be the nominee, so stop asking. It’s only fair — if rudy supporters want to keep pushing this nonsense then they need to put up or shut up. My guess is that they’ll do neither, just as you have done.

Again - Rudy will NOT run as a third party candidate.

If defeated he will support the GOP nominee - as will I and 95% of all other Rudy supporters.

Relax a little - it’s just politics.

Trust me on this one - Rudy will NOT run under a third party.

And again, you do not answer the dilemma put to you.

Trust me on this one -
***Nope. Prove yourself trustworthy. Go over to wideawake and ask the following:

Then where are the former freepers who kept saying that he wasn’t pro-abort/pro-gun control/pro-gay activism/pro-open borders? I don’t see many coming back to Free Republic with contrite spirits because they’ve been snookered by this guy. That means they have been caught lying for their candidate, and rather than own up to it, they’re following him down the garden path. The indicator is very high that you are simply wrong in your assessment, because if there weren’t many that would have followed him, we’d be seeing a bunch come back to FR.
