You would have loved the day I carried out a one man counter demonstration against the striking High School teachers.

There were a couple of dozen of them complaining about low wages and then there was me.

My little sign said:
"Average Teacher Salary: $67,000."

"Average County Resident Salary: $52,000."

The reverse side said: "Teachers Greed Deprives Your Kids Of An Education. CALL XXX-XXXX TO HAVE STRIKERS FIRED."

In less than 10 minutes I had no fewer than 5 cops guarding me and my lonely little sign against the foul mouthed threats from publick skool teechers.

Oh God love you!

My sister started as a Catholic school teacher.
She earned 9,000 a year. I earned 12,000.

She could never understand the concept of working only 9 months means we earn the same.

Now I teach my own kids and they are two years ahead. She is sitting on disability, being paid by Cleveland Public Schools and addicted to morphine.
