Notice how the left operates. They destroy anyone who exposes their lies.

The talking heads were giving an ominous warning that, by 2060, we could see temps raging from 100 to 110 in July.
I live in Houston. There is no such thing as a July that doesn't hit 100.

But wiat, the libs tell us that this never happens, and you know you can get in trouble for exposing them. That’s a crime.
They’ll be coming for you. You have committed truth.

It is funny to hear people who should know better always talking about how it has never been as hot as it is now, even when the temps are perfectly normal summer temps. I can remember plenty of summers when the highs were constantly in the upper 90’s or above 100. We will probably have one this year. The global warmists have repeated their lies so much that people forget how things have always been and mindlessly believe that things have never been worse.
To: TomGuy
I remember in the late 1950s some of those temps in the triple digits. It was not unusual. It was called summer.I remember the hot Summers in the 50's growing up near Steubenville/Wheeling in the Ohio Valley, and NO AIR CONDITIONING except a floor fan...!

Predicting 6 months? Try 12 hours.
Here in the upper midwest, we had the weather “service” forcasting (for last night) severe thunderstorms, lots of rain, etc., with the arrival of a big cold front.
I woke up this morning - not a drop had fallen...

In 1984, I was going to go out to the lake for Memorial weekend. I listened to the local weather (Tulsa) to see how the weekend would be. Weatherman came on Friday around 5:00: "Beautiful weekend, no rain in sight."
Woke up Saturday and was going to gather up my stuff and drive to the lake. There was slight mist. Decided to wait for it to burn off.
By 10 a.m. the light mist was heavy mist.
By 1 p.m. the mist was light rain.
By 4 p.m. the light rain was rain.
By 8 p.m. the rain was heavy rain.
By 10 p.m. the heavy rain was downpour and broke the 12 hour record.
By midnight the downpour was a drinching and broke the 8 hour record.
I didn't get to go to the lake that weekend. It came to me. I had 31-inches of flood water in my house by Sunday morning.
The words of the weatherman, Gary Shore, were seared, seared in my memory: "Beautiful weekend, no rain in sight."

This is why the environmental movement is so scary. They have the power of the government behind them and can use their "beliefs" to punish those who don't fall in line. Jerry Falwell, for all of his supposed eeeeevil power couldn't fire someone for not believing in God. He also couldn't force you to change your lightbulbs, he couldn't pick through your trash and fine you for not recycling, he couldn't raise your taxes. And try as he might, he couldn't force people to study the Bible in school. But the government can force your kids to watch An Inconvenient Truth.

"I remember the hot Summers in the 50's growing up near Steubenville/Wheeling in the Ohio Valley, and NO AIR CONDITIONING except a floor fan...!" Wussville. Try South Louisiana. 100 deg F, 100%RH, starting in May, ending in October.

"Scientists have not reached a scientific conclusion yet, but the politicians want to jump the gun and be seen as saviors on the issue find another way to tax the peasants at even higher rates." There ... made it even more accurate.
For most of the grab-ass politicians in the US, this is only about money they get to play with.
For the serious Marxists who lost the Cold War, this is Round 2 --- and they are DEADLY serious.
They couldn't sucker us with the Preliterate Revolution so they have switched tactics.

It was kind of fun as I recall.
