Angry Wolfowitz in four-letter tirade [old news]
al-Guardian ^ | May 15, 2007 | Richard Adams

Posted on 05/15/2007 3:10:50 PM PDT by Enchante

The angry comments attributed to Mr Wolfowitz came from damning testimony by Xavier Coll, head of human resources at the bank, who provided investigators with his notes of a meeting with Mr Wolfowitz last year. The notes directly contradict Mr Wolfowitz's assertions that the details of Ms Riza's treatment were properly shared with senior bank officials.

In March last year, when a mention of Ms Riza's secondment outside the bank to avoid rules about partners was first published in the magazine US News & World Report, an angry Mr Wolfowitz accused Mr Coll of leaking the information.

According to Mr Coll's notes: "At the end of the conversation Mr Wolfowitz became increasingly agitated and said that he was 'tired of people ... attacking him' and 'you should get your friends to stop it'. Mr Wolfowitz said, 'If they fuck me or Shaha, I have enough on them to fuck them too'," naming several senior bank staff he felt were vulnerable.

Mr Wolfowitz appears before the bank's executive board today to make a final defence of his actions, with the board meeting tomorrow to consider the report and make a statement later in the week.

al-Guardian is trying to make Wolfowitz look bad for using profanity in a private meeting, but it looks to me like Xavier Cole is one of the scumbags and Wolfowitz knew it.

Headline tries to make it seem like something knew with present-tense, but in fact the “tirade” referred to is from a private meeting in March ‘06 when Wolfowitz realized that the Eurotrash scumbags were setting him up for the fall.

I have the solution: ABOLISH the World Bank!! The Eurotwit socialists can use their own money to pursue their preferred forms of foreign aid, and the USA can do whatever we please. We do not need to continue to fund 12,000 bureaucrats who hate our way of life and our economic successes, not to mention all the corrupt and depraved 3rd world despots who have made such a good living off World Bank projects.

You’re right. World Bank, EX/IM Bank, and other multilateral outfits that started with the best of intentions but now are bogged down with huge, expensive, Savile-Row-tailored bureaucracies.

Eliminate the World Bank and send Wolfie back home where he belongs. Make him the “money czar”. Oh, wait - John Snow as former Ceo of Cerberus ( can you say Chysler) and Rudy McRomney’s law firm in Texas (Spanish consortium to build NAFTA superhighway to Kansas City) What is wrong with the media and the sheep in this country for not exposing the fraud and greed that is running rampant?

Good luck with that. There must be some 5,000 plum jobs at the tax-exempt bank. Former government employees can go there to continue drawing a check - income tax exempt. Every politico would like a high paying tax exempt job.
