Hey, snugs, did you see the movie, The Queen?

DP and I just finished watching it on DVD. Don’t know how accurate it was, but it was fascinating.

I know you don’t care for Tony, but how do you feel about Elizabeth. Helen Mirren certainly did a good job portraying her; Prince Phillip came across as pretty much of a jerk—I have no idea what he’s really like.

Thanks for the second shift. Tony didn’t bring the missus this time. Maybe since he’s leaving office, she’s blowing off all the official wifely duties that she didn’t seem to relish that much.

Thanks, Justa .. getting around to our "Island" late tonight again. I LOVE seeing the smiles of Blair and Bush and their obvious closeness again.. I think they're really buddies, and that their friendship will continue on into the years. Thank God for that these past years of partnering. I pray his replacement has the spine of a committed warrior.

British schools do not break up for summer until Mid to end July.

The youngest child Leo was born in 2000 by the way.

No I have not seen the movie. Prince Philip is abbrasive and can often be very non PC and call a spade a shovel but I would not call him a jerk. The Queen I think has kept her dignity when everything was falling in around her with the antics some of the younger royals were getting up to.

I may well try to pick up an ex rental copy in a few months time the way I buy most of my DVDs.

That is probably true - dad said to me tonight wait for a few weeks and it is more than likely we will hear some anti war statements from Cheri.
