Steny Hoyer would kiss a bull on the butt if the Dems told him to do it.
We need to put pressure on President Bush to veto this insanity and hope it will do some good. Considering his obsession with amnesty and open borders for this country, I no longer know what to expect of him. However, if he said he will veto it, then I remain optimistic.
Only those with a terrible dark side themselves could have voted for this insane legislation.
I will ping this out tomorrow if you can find for me (I know you’re very busy) wording that includes “pedophile” under this hate crimes garbage. Are they really included in this?!?!
President Bush’s senior advisors issued a Statement of Administration Policy which stated that he would veto any new “Hate Crimes” legislation that was expanded to cover “sexual identity.”
I remember reading something about that. Very good news. Now, if he would only veto the immigration (deleted noun).
This is such a political football....makes me want to spit.
There are a few important tidbits that the media never reports, to purposely flame the issue, they should be charged with a crime!
The media never explains why amnesty is on the table. There are aliens that get smuggled in for bonded labor, slave labor, servitude, and sex. Those are the people, the victims, the Bush Administration is trying to give amnesty too. The libs that want to flame ethnic animosity and pad numbers for political goodies and votes in urban areas use the balance of the numbers for their favor in amnesty.

When I was fourteen, a man came to my parents' house in Veracruz, Mexico and asked me if I was interested in making money in the United States. He said I could make many times as much money doing the same things that I was doing in Mexico. At the time, I was working in a hotel cleaning rooms and I also helped around my house by watching my brothers and sisters. He said I would be in good hands, and would meet many other Mexican girls who had taken advantage of this great opportunity. My parents didn't want me to go, but I persuaded them.
A week later, I was smuggled into the United States through Texas to Orlando, Florida. It was then the men told me that my employment would consist of having sex with men for money. I had never had sex before, and I had never imagined selling my body.
And so my nightmare began. Because I was a virgin, the men decided to initiate me by raping me again and again, to teach me how to have sex. Over the next three months, I was taken to a different trailer every 15 days. Every night I had to sleep in the same bed in which I had been forced to service customers all day.
I couldn't do anything to stop it. I wasn't allowed to go outside without a guard. Many of the bosses had guns. I was constantly afraid. One of the bosses carried me off to a hotel one night, where he raped me. I could do nothing to stop him.
Because I was so young, I was always in demand with the customers. It was awful. Although the men were supposed to wear condoms, some didn't, so eventually I became pregnant and was forced to have an abortion. They sent me back to the brothel almost immediately.
I cannot forget what has happened. I can't put it behind me. I find it nearly impossible to trust people. I still feel shame. I was a decent girl in Mexico. I used to go to church with my family. I only wish none of this had ever happened.
Horrible.
Aside from many people needing a 180 change of heart, I think only serious, public punishment is going to stop a lot of these evils.
Public punishment as in public caning and public execution.
Anyone stealing a woman or young girl for forced prostitution should be publicly executed, and those using her should be beaten severely. At the very least. Really it was rape, and rape should be a capital crime as it used to be.
This is at the blockbuster by me. See if yours carries it:

Human Trafficking
I don’t have a TV - I don’t watch movies. I’m a sort of hermit. I will definitely take your word for it - I remember last year some time someone posted a number of articles about sex slavery, mostly in Europe. Un-freaking-believable.
The worst thing is that governments COULD do something. Why the (*!*!*) don’t they? They’re just helpless to stop such an evil??? Their hands are tied? It’s not illegal? it’s getting to the point, Calpernia, where I long to see vigilante justice done, as this other stuff called “justice” is just a raw insult.

BUSH ADMINISTRATION HOSTS FIRST NATIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE TO COMBAT HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Thank you, Calpernia! I don’t know how you do it. You know everything, and it’s all at your fingertips...!
If I knew anything, I would know how to fix it. But I only know how to post links :(
People need to know the truth, and where else can it be found in such abundance as FR with posters like you?
