I agree. I really didn’t care at first, but I think starting about now that the current slate will look weaker and weaker as a result of his not announcing. He will need a still viable running mate, after all.

That is probablly a pretty good bet.

Ron Paul told the truth tonight and most can’t comprehend.

Wallace tried to stump him with the first question regarding his vote against the war. He explained it well stating that we would be in a quagmire for years. He was totally correct. Wallace looked relieved when the question was completed.

To my knowledge, Rudy didn’t answer the first question. All he did was dance around the questions and change the subject. He must have thought he was talking to just yanks as the rest of the country didn’t buy it.

Then when Rudy did make his biggie against Ron Paul, he opened a caN of worms. The U.S. has been in the M.E. since the 1950’s meddling, etc. As Ron Paul said, the U.S. would not have allowed any country to come into the U.S. like we did the M.E.

Not everyone agrees with Rudy or thought his tactic was so great since he didn’t answer any questions.

“He will need a still viable running mate, after all.”

Very good point!

Hunter, Romney, Guilani and Fred Thompson could all wipe the floor with Hillary, Obama and Edwards.

I understood Dr. Paul just fine. In fact, after the debate, I plan on donating some money to his campaign. He’s got my vote. Rudy and Sean Hannity (did you see the way he treated Dr. Paul during the post debate interview?) disgust me.

In the absence of Fred Thompson, I have to support Rudy.

So, you're a Rudy supporter, because Fred Thompson has not declared.

First, he’s got to “crush” his competition for the Rep Nod. He did better in this debate, but I believe that we need someone who can explain conservatism in a optimistic, hopeful, and humerous way, while still making it clear to the UN, terrorists, Iran et al. that he is not to be messed with way that Reagan did.

Only Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani fit that bill.
It doesnt matter if you think Hunter would be a great President if he would never be elected President.

I’m reading still over at DU where they are still discussing text messaging FOX. I’m nowhere near 70. lol!

7. couple factors

1) there are 9 pro war republicans, so they divide that minority public view while Paul gets 100% of the anti-war audience.

2) the poll is 100% text message. the average fox news audience member is probably just under 70 years old - they don’t have cell phones or if they do they don’t know how to text message. I’m guessing the younger Fox News audience is much more centrist or liberal than the older audience.

How about a ticket of Giuliani and Duncan Hunter?

I prefer a ticket of Duncan Hunter and Carl Rove.

Well I think I would make the best President of all.

But since I havent declared my candidacy yet, and thus obviously cant win, I have to find someone who is actually running. :)

There’s some wonderful logic at work here - certainly, Ron Paul would be proud.

Suppose you’re paying $300 a month in electricity bills and your windows are leaking. New windows would cost $8,000 - and you’d have to deal with at least a day or two of installers at your house, removing old windows and installing new ones. Why, it’s just cheaper and easier to keep the old ones!

This is exactly like Ron Paul’s “logic” on the Islamofascists - ignore it. After all, it’s not like it will get worse and worse and worse. Oh wait - it will.

Fortunately, the vast majority of voting conservatives realize Ron Paul is extremely dangerous to this country.

Solly cholly. He’s starting to get some very interested support. Henry Hyde, John “swiftboat” O’Neill, Ann Coulter, Michael Medved, and now Mrk Levin. If you think he’s toast, you have not been paying that much attention.

Ron Paul is a Utopian isolationist fool. He lives in peace to spout his nonsense because better men have laid down their lives to deter a very real evil that Ron Paul refuses to confront.

“Even a gun grabber is preferable to a traitor.”

I disagree... The Clinton’s were gun grabbers, and they would be preferable to Rudy.

-—Our presence in the middle east does insight hatred.

Simplistic in the extreme.

Israel’s presence in the middle east insights hatred.

Anybody who says that needs to explain how our presence in the middle east motivates Islamic terrorism in France, Spain, the Phillipines, Thailand, Russia.

I think DUmmies are holding out for a Hagel/Paul ‘08 ticket.

I dont know what Ron Paul was smoking tonight, but somebody needs to test his blood and urine for crack, PCP, LSD etc.

In the next debate Ron Paul will be talking about his crazy Aunt in the attic. Where did they find this guy?
