I don't think elevating Giuliani to head up Homeland Security is a dilution. It would be a great, unifying gesture on the part of the next Republican president. If that president is not Hunter, then Hunter would make an excellent choice, to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

How does that sound to you?

Hunter will not change Rudy, as he is to the left of centrist. Liberal on social issues and not a fiscal conservative in his actions only in his words. He is not as far left as Hillary but by in large closer to a Dem/Liberal line of thought than a conservative Republican.

Being buried as the VP will not enhance Hunter in 4 or 8 years .. it will dilute him. In Rudy's shadow it could well cripple him in a future race.
