They wouldn't even re-elect him as senator, that's why he dropped out...........

...not necessarily so. NC knows all about his 50,000 sf house and his record as a liar, hypocrite and ambulance chaser.

I cant imagine him getting the RAT nomination, but if he did by some miracle, I'm not sure he'd take either state.

IIRC, Bush took NC in 2004, and Edwards was expected to lose if he ran for Senate again. A leftist like Edwards would have a very hard time in VA, especially if matched against someone like Rudy, who is the type of Republican that plays well in Northern Virginia. The notion around here that the Northern part of the state is overrun with liberal RATS is wrong; for decades, two of the three members of Congress from that part of the state have been Republicans.
