Clinton tried this under Cumo when he was over HUD. I do not think it passed the stink test. Clinton was horrible on individual rights espically for the poor black people.

Plenty of sweeps of HUD complexes in Chicago. Regardless of sucess of busting gang and ghetto thugs- IMO, the precidents are just to get into private homes. Here's some of the slimey Federal ways to get into a unit:
