Fremont man dies after cutting wrist on window
FREMONT A 35-year-old man who cut his wrist punching out a window at a friends home Monday died yesterday in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Fremont police said.
Roberto Rodriguez of Fremont died about 2:30 a.m., a day after he was hurt, walked about a block, and collapsed in the backyard of another home.
The Lucas County Coroners Offices preliminary autopsy results showed the death was due to complications from his injury, police said.
After a night of drinking with a friend, Mr. Rodriguez broke the glass window in his friends front door on Sycamore Street, police said.

Yes. Injuries to large arteries require prompt attention. The thing doesn’t clot itself shut easily. Besides, blood is continuously pumped through it, and this high-pressure blood doesn’t allow for quick clotting. It’s even worse if the artery has been completely severed.
