For most Americans, this is a no-brainer

But Democrats have no brains. Further proof that liberalism is a serious and dangeroud mental disorder.

"Republicans still favor the bill. By Mark Lisheron AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF Thursday, May 17, 2007 After a day of closed-door meetings in which not a single bill was considered, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst on Wednesday pronounced all but dead in the Senate a measure that would require Texans to present identification before voting. The bill, which Senate Democrats oppose, will almost certainly not be considered before Wednesday's deadline for that chamber's bills to be passed, Dewhurst said."

The party that opposes such a common sense bill is obviously the party that most benefits from voter fraud.

Once again, liberals show that what is bad for America is good for the democrat party.

Unfortunately it’s not stupidity but corruption. The Dems controlled Texas until recently. They still managed to push Tom DeLay out as punishment for his work in pushing the rezoning of US congressional districts.

If they lose all the votes they currently own from illegals and corpses, they would lose still more power. So it’s a no brainer for them, too, unfortunately. They are desperate to hang on to what they have and somehow get back into power, no matter what kind of corruption it takes.

If Republicans lose the White House and congress in 2008 it will help them further, because Hillary will see to it that no one goes after them. Not that Bush and Gonzalez are doing anything to help, unfortunately.

The Dims always say that the voter ID would discriminate against the poor and minorities. Next time you’re cashing a check in a store try telling them that you’re poor and don’t have one when they ask for ID.

Pa. mayor who targeted illegals on way to third term

Barletta won the primaries in both parties....

To knowingly not protect the franchise, IMHO, is to commit malfeasance in office. I am not a resident of Texas but some responsible person/entity should file a complaint with at least the Ethics Board (or whatever is its equivalent). Stir it up and make each abdicating politician stand up and be counted that he would rather expose the election process to fraud than initiate such a requirement. Hell, even in Louisiana we have it; to get a Blockbuster card, I had to show a picture i.d. - too tough for the Democrats?
