My favorite Barrack slogan is this one:
Become part of the Obama nation.
(Say it quickly.)

Barack Obama is not serious about his run for the most serious office in the world. Its a mere test game, a scrimmage, practice for a later effort. Much as JFK ran for the V.P. nomination at the 56 convention a sham, a pretense, a mere show to make him known to the national audience. He had no intention of being sacrificed at such a tender age in 1956 better to practice in the scrimmage of national exposure and go for the Big Enchilada in 60.
In 1956, Kennedy was 39 years old. In 2008, Obama will be older than Kennedy was when he died. He will be older than Clinton was when he was elected. He will be older than Teddy Roosevelt was when he ran for his 2nd term.
I agree that if Obama does not make it this time around, he will be kicking around for future elections, but I disagree about his lack of seriousness.
