CNBC is reporting that the Senate negotiators have a “deal.” Scant details, but it sounds like a pathway to citizenship,some chain migration, must return home within 8 years (laugh), pay a fine in exchange for some alleged toughening of enforcement at the border.
They must return home in 8 years, but it only applies to the head of household. He can leave his wife and kids here. Giving them 8 years means that what little deportation that has been done will be eliminated. Our “representatives” in DC think that in 8 years they will either be out of office voluntarily or we will have forgotten who voted for this disaster when it fails to work. And while I’m ranting...the border fence will never be built and none of these “poor, hard working” people will have to pay one penny of a fine. This is such a scam on American citizens.
