I think Graham thinks that John McCain will either make him his V.P. or attorney general if he wins. He is too much in McCain’s corner.
Z Visa :
Zero respect for law.
Zero respect for American taxpayers and citizens.
Zero respect for legal and lawful immigrants.
Neither can be lost...in terms of national security. But while Iraq is current and happening (within a very fix time zone)....the immigration situation is a 30yr + problem in the making that is not going to be fixed over night...
With that said, I don't agree with the current Senate proposal (or the WH backing it). But I still support GWB (I simply don't agree with him on this issue).
Can you enlighten me regarding the "Z-status" within the Senate bill -
If an illegal can stay in the Z-Status indefinitely....what is wrong with this? - If they choose to simply work here under the Z-status but NOT become a citizen.....They would NOT have the right to vote...correct?
I don't see that as all that bad. The notion of 12-22 million new voters (eligible voters) does concern me.
While it's true the agreement between ICE and MA wasn't signed until the last month of Gov. Romney's term in office, it's noteworthy that Romney thought it worthwhile when so few other states had made the effort. At the time of the signing in MA, only the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Alabama Department of Public Safety and a few counties in California and North Carolina had an agreement with ICE.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona mentioned Gov. Romney's effort to make the arrangement with ICE when he gave his reasons for endorsing Romney for president. Arpaio was working to get the authority for his Deputy Sheriffs in Arizona to arrest illegal aliens.
The most disappointing part of the story is that the incoming Democrat Gov. Deval Patrick in MA rescinded the ICE agreement as one of his first acts as governor.
Comrades Levin, and Stab em now? I’d have better luck trying to walk across Lake Michigan
If being in the majority means we have to settle for RHINOs, I’d rather be in the minority party. At least that way, when the people finally overwhelmingly choose us, we can actually make a diference.
However, the more I've read and talk to a few others...This bill is not going to make it out of Congress. It won't pass through the House (and the odds are only 50/50 in the Senate).
NO AMNESTY UNTIL AMERICANS CAN BUY PROPERTY IN MEXICO.
Suck on that.
So much for “open borders”.
Our culture is being raped by Aztlan supremacists who feel this is THEIR land. Yet they still honor the tongue of the conquoring Spaniard.
I do not like a Senator who has dedicated part of his web page to en espanol, he is still catering to non english speaking people by doing this...
WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!
La Raza has veto power on the senate bill. Who elected them? Not me.
Translation: It IS amnesty but actual Americans are supposed to just shut up and take it.
Like this too... http://www.spp.gov (superhighway-borderless). A treaty was made without our consent.
While the immigration bill came out and also on Friday, the MSM featured the attempted rescue of TWO HUMPBACK WHALES. They were purposely imo not covering the immigration bill to help out Teddy, McCain, Martinez and the other turncoats.
And for some reason, they are afraid to do so. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would think they WANT to lose this country to the Dems and worse.

“Z Visa :

EXACTLY!
I wrote a letter and sent it to my Senators. Then to all the Republican Senators (except McCain). To find email addresses I went to:
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
I tried to be respectful, and to tone it down. I think it has the greatest impact that way. I had to alter my letter to get each Senator’s name right!
Most use a standard form. Header information fills in automatically but must be reviewed as errors crop up.
I have not made time yet to write and send another version to the Democratic Senators.
DeMint you are the MAN! Keep up the pressure, they need to feel the heat!
