If it looks like amnesty, and it smells like amnesty, and it walks like amnesty, and it sounds like amnesty, The MSM will tell us it’s NOT amnesty, it’s something new and improved..........

first time prioritize immigrants' education and skill level over family connections in deciding how to award green cards.

If this means they have to speak English and I can quit learning Spanish I'm all for it.

The proposed agreement would allow illegal immigrants to come forward and obtain a "Z visa" and—after paying fees and a $5,000 fine—ultimately get on track for permanent residency, which could take between eight and 13 years. Heads of household would have to return to their home countries first.

Now I see why the democrats like this bill, it's basically a way to institute another tax and blame it on the Republicans who are probably the ones demanding some kind of retribution for getting a ticket to pass go. As for sending the father back to wherever and leaving the wife and kids here, this is just another way to fractionalize the family unit, which is the democrats' first love.

Those workers would have to return home after work stints of two years, with little opportunity to gain permanent legal status or ever become U.S. citizens. They could renew their guest worker visas twice, but would be required to leave for a year in between each time.

So what is it, a 2 year amnesty program? Then the worker will leave voluntarily like they do before their visas expire? They work for 2 years, leave for a year then work for 2 more years? I guess we shouldn't worry about anyone violating the system because I'm sure the high-tech worker identification program will work perfectly, just like everything else has worked perfectly up to now.

If there is any doubt, there is no doubt.

This bill is a disaster. The fact that Ted Kennedy and Arlen Specter are pushing it is all you need to know. We Republicans will be a permanent minority if this bill passes. I am seeing the effects of illegal immigration every day in my ‘hood and it isn’t pretty!

While the immigration bill came out and also on Friday, the MSM featured the attempted rescue of TWO HUMPBACK WHALES. They were purposely imo not covering the immigration bill to help out Teddy, McCain, Martinez and the other turncoats.
