***Ouch. That’s gonna leave a mark. I had posted several months ago that GWB should ask Cheney to resign due to reasons of ill health and then whomever he appoints would be the heir apparent (hoping that Duncan Hunter would get the nod). Now I’m not so sure Bush would lean in that direction — he might have chosen someone like McCain.
