Tehran - Iran plans to make special bicycles designed for women that will be compatible with Islamic regulations and not expose their body movements while riding, the newspaper Iran reported Thursday.
The new bicycle would have a cabin to cover half of a rider's body, the daily quoted project manager Elaheh Sofali as saying.
Women's sports in general, and cycling in particular, have been a constant controversial issue in Islamic Iran. Several efforts to promote athletics by reformist circles and women's activists have failed because of opposition by the conservative clergy.
Women in Iran are obliged to wear scarves and long gowns to hide their hair and body contours. Female athletes must also follow this rule and participate in sports wearing scarves and gowns.
The clergy considers women's body movements made while riding a bicycle to be provoking to men and not compatible with social rules.
Is it just me, or does anyone else consider Moslems generally to be not only homicidal dolts, but also moral imbeciles...?
If they only inflicted their lunacy on themselves, I would say ‘go forth and kill yourselves’. The problem is, these lunatics are spreading throughout the world, and they will, in time, have to be erdaicated like any virulent infestation (such as rabies). We will kill millions of muslims before it’s over, this in self-preservation. Eradicating Saudi Arabia would be a good start right now, but not while servile Bush is president.

It’s apparent Muslim men must not be able to control themselves around women, even if they are completely covered up riding on a bicycle. Therefore, they brutally control women. These people are moving into Europe and reproducing at a level much higher than Western Civilization. I say there will eventually be a problem.
Engineering bicycles for the men was a lot easier...they just removed the saddles.

Is not this an interesting aspect of this control? While this culture seeks total control over the behavior of human beings, there is no expectation of humans able to control themselves and being responsible for their own actions. The flaw of such a culture is that those who have the power to control other human beings, do not have the expectation of their own self control. This becomes a culture that has an out of control control over other human beings. Therefore, those at the top of the pyramids of power, being out of control, are a danger for those below them and, with the genie of technology, all of mankind.
Muslim men a skewed genetically towards no-self control - sort of like pit bulls.
