The U.S. military in Iraq says coalition forces have detained six people suspected of involvement in smuggling explosives from Iran.

A military statement says the suspects were arrested during a raid in northeastern Baghdad early Friday morning.

U.S. military officials have long complained that elements in Iran are supplying armor-penetrating explosive devices to insurgent groups in Iraq. The United States also accuses Iran of aiding and training extremist groups in Iraq, a charge Tehran denies.

“six people “suspected” of involvement in smuggling explosives from Iran.” ..............Caught doing it? Caught red handed as they say, or just possibly they may have been doing it? Were these people Iranian? Was their sources the Iranian Gov’t or the Army? Arms dealers could have provided the bombs. “Tehran denies”,....... to the rest of the world it still remains questionable.

Who is supplying Iran with the components/ingredients/supplies to make up these bombs?

This deserves discussion as well.

This is an easy one. Put the detainees and their smuggled stuff together and put a blasting cap on the contraband to see if it really is an explosive.

Why is it ‘detain’ and not ‘shoot’?

I told my wife that if our captured troops are found dead there will be multiple reports of the “gloves coming off”. We wonder what the hell they’re doing on. It’s like our military has the “Limbaugh balancer” only with one arm and perhaps half a brain tied behind their backs.
God Bless our troops and turn them loose.

I’m hoping our SpecOps are cross border raising holy hell (overloading virgins) and collecting rags from noggins.

We can only hope the gloves would come off at that point. I have no confidence that will happen.
