I can’t remember a worse piece of legislation in my lifetime and I lived through the LBJ era. This will be a disaster and i’m very angry that a man I fought hard for in 2000 has helped lead the charge on a bill that will be a disaster for our country and that will eventually destroy the party.

I know for a fact that i’m not going to be giving money and effort to get Republican candidates in 08.

Mexicans are relatively wealthy compared to the rest of the world. There are 126 countries that have per capita incomes lower than Mexico's. If we are really letting all these people break our laws and flood our country because they are poor and only want a better life for their families, why not send them back and let some really poor people in to do the work that Americans won't do?
