The complaint came from a father who said a college-age man walked in on his 15-year-old daughter.

The man said in his complaint that his daughter was embarrassed and left the restaurant crying.

If it is a typical ladies' room, the daughter was in a stall, so the guy didn't see anything.

If it's a one-person ladies' room, the daughter didn't lock the door behind her, and deserved to be walked in on.

At any rate, crying from embarrassment? Grow a spine, girlie, or the sorority chicks at your college of choice are gonna eat you alive.

The Florida Department For Killing Every Bit of Fun would have hated the signs from a bar near a local college. One sign was “Pointers” and the other was “Setters”. It’s a lot of fun when you’re sober, but try figuring it out after a few beers (for large values of “a few”).

There is a local BBQ joint that has an even better gag.

The outsides of the doors are marked normally, but the inside of the mensroom door has a large glass pane that is painted in reverse letters “SEIDAL” (Ladies) so that on exiting, the unsuspecting gent thinks he has just used the ladies room. But the Ladies sign is not visible from the outside. Fooled me the first time.

This is my family’s favorite restaurant in Destin! And we were warned about the signs by our waitress the first time we visited, but it is fun to watch the people who weren’t! The food here, though, is wonderful, and so is the atmosphere. They have a fun tradition where patrons put their names and/or messages on dollar bills, and the bills are then stapled to walls, ceilings, or any other available surface. (My kids just ***have to*** put one up every time we go there). Its very family friendly, misleading bathroom signs not withstanding.

When I was growing up in Lexington, KY, there was restaurant called Max and Irmas, which did the same thing. They had their character Max on the ladies' room door, pointing at the mens' room, and Irma was on the mens' room door pointing at the ladies' room. Yeah, a lot of people, including my 14 yeard old self, walked into the wrong room...BUT IT WAS PART OF THE HUMOR OF THE PLACE!!!!!

Liberalism has so infected this nation that we've lost our sense of humor.
