Adversaries praise a relentless Kennedy [Swimmer reverse peristalsis alert]

On Wednesday night, Senator Edward M. Kennedy stared at an exhausted negotiating team of 20 senators and two Cabinet secretaries and said, "Let's shoot for 10 o'clock tomorrow morning."

The negotiators were tantalizingly close to a historic deal to remake the nation's immigration system. But at several points, nervous senators were ready to give up. Republicans wanted to give temporary visas only to workers taking undersubscribed jobs. Democrats wanted to allow family members of immigrants to come in more quickly.

But Kennedy, the Senate's consummate dealmaker -- still indefatigable at 75 -- pushed hard at his fellow Democrats, wavering Republican moderates, and even members of the Bush administration, insisting that the deal-makers work all night Wednesday to beat the deadline imposed by the Senate leadership.

Yesterday, the two Cabinet secretaries -- both of whom have been subjects of Kennedy broadsides in the past -- lauded the Democrats' aging lion as the one indispensable player in the negotiating process.

"He's awesome," gushed Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff , as he left a news conference announcing the bipartisan agreement. "I'd say he was one of the critical leaders in putting together this deal."

Why are Cabinet secretaries heaping praise on the Cape Cod Orca?

Because they are on the same side.

“Let’s shoot for 10 o’clock tomorrow morning...maybe I will be sober by then”.

There, I am sure that was the unabridged quote.

Anything that Teddy Kennedy (Dhimmi - hic! - Chivas) thinks is a good idea has to be a horrible idea for this country. Bush signing onto this amnesty has destroyed any faith that I had that we can rescue this country from the liberal’s Marxist orgy of destruction. They have won, and it is all over but the crying. Hitlery will be President in ‘08 thanks to 20 million new voters - all for the Dhimmicraps. Between the Libs and the Muzzies wanting us all converted or dead - you can kiss freedom and liberty goodbye. I witnessed first-hand the destruction of my hometown in SE Massachusetts by the influx of Spanish-speaking-only legals (and was nearly murdered by one- having CCW saved my life) and illegals - it is now a cesspit of drugs, crime and violence. I am watching the same thing happen in my new home in Southern New Hampshire. On the weekends, My wife and I seldom hear English being spoken in the stores here as all the Hispanics cross the border from their cesspit cities in MA where they reap untold largesse foisted upon them by the hapless (and clueless) Lib MA taxpayers. They come to avoid paying MA sales tax on their purchases as there is no sales tax in NH. Thus they can avoid helping to pay for their own keep in any way, manner, shape or form. My wife and I plan to retire to the country so that we can live out our remaining years in relative peace and safety. But what comes after for this country? I pity the future generations - the libs have won and succeeded in destroying any hope we had for the future.

Yuk! Chertoff, the lobbyist lawyer. Just a mutual admiration society in DC!

Am I the only who immediately thought “giggly schoolgirl” at Chertoff’s “He’s awesome” line?

Ted Kennedy is the biggest traitor this, or any, country has ever raised. This isn’t immigration, it’s an invasion with the explicit goal of eliminating the nation and people. Lebensraum without the tanks.

>Why are Cabinet secretaries heaping praise on the Cape Cod Orca?<

Because they, like Jorge Boosh, are Globalists who are panting for a One World Government with one political party; and hope to take giant steps toward it by making 65 Million illegal aliens and their large families legal to vote upon Jorge’s signature on the bill! And you know how they will vote! I kid you not!

Senator Kennedy:

Cheater, alcoholic, murderer, coward, philanderer.

Some idol those idiots in Boston have. “Camelot” has come to this degenerate creature, the spawn of a bootlegger, who would sell his country down the river for thirty pieces of silver - or thirty drinks at the local bar.

RNC CHAIRMAN MEL MARTINEZ shown cutting up w/Sen. Kennedy, Jubilant yesterday, Senators Mel Martinez (left), Lindsey O. Graham, and Edward M. Kennedy had spent hours in sometimes heated negotiations to craft a compromise bill on immigration.

Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez called it "a real privilege" to work with Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat and liberal stalwart who spends much of his time trying to thwart or undo Bush administration policies.

"It's obvious we're in different parties. We don't always agree," Gutierrez said. But, he added, Kennedy "is focused. He's very determined."

Kennedy's demand that negotiators have a deal by 10 a.m., Gutierrez said, was the "stimulus" that got the deal done.

A pact on immigration appeared dim at the beginning of the year. Several of the key Republican senators -- John McCain of Arizona, Mel Martinez of Florida, Sam Brownback of Kansas, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, and Lindsey O. Graham of South Carolina -- were starting to feel the pressure of election-year politics. Several were considering presidential runs. Graham was preparing to run for re election in a conservative state.

And Martinez, a key supporter of overhauling immigration , was heading his party's Senate re election committee -- meaning he had to watch what he said for fear of alienating fellow Republicans.

Lets face it. Three major groups are making tons of money off the immigrants, illegal or legal.

Slave traders.....sneak people into California....bondage at low end jobs and pay....include exploitation of women too...

Slave masters. off the books workers, companies, contractors solicit and hire these poor immigrants, legal and illegal, and exploit them, no benefits, no workers compensation insurance, no liablility insurance, no pensions, no health care...Slaves.

Slave enablers.....banks, supermarkets, welfare groups, immigration legal personnel, media, politicans, clergy, local and state government workers, health providers, school administrators.....ALL MAKE TONS OF MONEY OFF THESE PEOPLE from multiple sources....multiple sources......think about it.

You can be assured that one of your neighbors or co-workers is a slave trader, slave master or slave enabler....contributing to a permanent underclass and making big dollars to boot!!!
