Presidential Candidates investing in the Sudan

It is disconcerting to see all of the thousands in investments in the Sudan of candidates running for President of the United States; almost all of them elected officials who vote for pay increases every year and enjoy health benefits unattainable by most Americans.

They dictate and propose a lot of issues and policy matters and would like to appear astute about world affairs and claim to not know when informed about investments in a nation blocking the halt of mass genocide in the region. It is especially sad to see this from candidates who claim to be in support of the elimination of poverty and better access to wealth in the world.

Former Senator John Edwards reported divesting 100,000, Senator Barack Obama 180,000 and the former Mayor of New York City Rudolph Giuliani with over 500,000 in investments he has yet to divest. Of course it is in the best interest of anyone to see an opportunity and seize upon it, but for the few who wish to be the leader of the free world, please stop saying one thing and doing an entirely different thing.
