This happened back when I was in the USMC. Back then they were kidnapping soldiers and holding them for ransom. The main difference being we were allowed to hang out in Mexico during daylight hours, but we had to be back before dark.

The military is protected.
El Presidente is protected.
The Congress is protected.
The citizenry must suffer 40,000 murders a year
from illegal aliens.
The citizenry must suffer 40,000 hit and runs a year
from illegal aliens.
The citizenry must suffer infectious hepatitis,
incurable tuberculosis, typhoid, cholera, plague,
measles, mumps, Chagas disease, leprosy,

I nver thought I would say this, but I agree with you.

Oreilly on the radio said “there is no other plan!”

Well, the jerk would not give credit to Neal Boortz whose plan is simple:

1. Hit the employers of illegals with hard draconian punishments for hiring them so the illegals can;’t get jobs.
2. have private US companies sign up Mexicans in mexico for temporary visas for specific job requests in the US and transport them here. have our corproations pay the wages to these companies and the hiring companies pay the workers.

3. when their time for the job is finished, they get transportation back to Mexico.

4. Seal the border really tight...like 99%.

that is just using the laws we have on the books now!

It'll be okay after the amnesty is signed... just a temporary thing.

These people are just running the drugs, and killing those who get in their way, that Americans refuse to... you know, just looking for a better way of life.

Yep, a life that their own communist government couldn't give them, so they'll have a communist government installed here. Looks like they've got Washington in line.

Eh, Lindsay? Viva La Raza baby!

(for those in any doubt, duh....</sarc>)

I don't support this bill...So clearly not in agreement with President GWB on this - Though I do still support the man as President....Simply disagree with him on this issue.

The wild rhetoric we have by some on the right regarding GWB is not helpful...and puts a segment of our base with the ilk of the loony DEMs.

As for this bill itself, the more I hear and read it is very unlikely to make it out of Congress. It probably only has a 20/30% chance to make it out of the House and maybe a 50/50 chance in the Senate.

Though I don't mind the Z-Status (as long as those of such a status DON'T have a right to vote).

With the fake documents and identification market out there....this simply isn't possible or justified to go after businesses/ private sector. This is a 30yr in the making Gov't (Federal and State) issue....that some are suggesting punishing those in the private sector for not correcting.

That is foolishness. We'd have businesses spending millions trying to verify real from fake ID/documents.

O’Reilly is a dumb a$$ sometimes. I like him, but he is just wrong on some stuff. He is wrong on guns. He finally changed his mind on guns after Katrina, but is still wrong on the specific issues.

I’ll tell you who else is wrong... is Laura Ingraham. She needs to spend more time in Texas.

There is a voluntary Social Security site that businesses can use to verify TIN/SSN. It is free, and despite that majority of business owners refuse to use it. That doesn’t sound like business owners are trying very hard to help, rather they look the other way and pay the low wages. EMPLOYERS ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!!!

If he signs it, are you jesting. It is because of him that this bill is even being considered. He is the numero uno in support of amnesty. He obviouly is seeking some kind of justification for his presidency. He wants to be honored in the 22nd century by the millions of inhabitants of what used to be the United States as the founding father of the new Socialist Republic of MexAmerica States.

Not at all equivalent....Juvenile in fact.

This President in total has faced and dealt with as much as any modern day President in our history. He has led from the WH with dignity, respect and the class the office asks for.

He has been a complete leader not only to this country but the world when it comes to the WOT. He inherited a recession, a stock market bubble, a depleted military (both equipment / man power wise as well as in attitude)....the list could go on...

But no, your comment above is juvenile at best....and is something one would tend to think would come out of the loony left.

I have supported Republicans for years, and Bush in both elections. The Democrats, increasingly power mad and traitorous, had sought to disable the Bush admin from Day One. While they yapped about "connecting the dots" after 9-11, nobody ever mentioned that the Democrats had been impeding the creation of Bush's administration from January through September, 2001. It was only after 9-11 that these vermin disruptors had to lay low for two years, fully aware that if they had carried on as they had been or had voiced their true opinions the citizenry would have impaled them on stakes at the entrance of every American city.

But a lot of time has passed since then, and it pains me to realize the lost opportunites during a brief term when Republicans had full control of the Executive and Congress. Instead of rising high, they chose to yield to their oligarichal masters and retire to the smolkey back room to spend the public treasury. This while restricting free speech, eliminating posse comitatus, and breaking down our borders.

It is clear to me that Bush and the Republicans answer to masers who do not have the best inteests of the Republic in mind.

It may well already be here....yesterday, I think it was Rush who said he just had numbers in from one county in Texas and that hundreds of illegals have been registering to vote and in the last election 40 some illegals actually had voted...as Rush says, that’s just in one county, and that number of votes can easily skewer the votes of legal citizens and affect the outcome of an election.

If you are familiar with this phone in site, you will find out if someone uses a stolen SSN their names will not match the number givened. If businesses claim such a system is a burden to run once, how do they cope with doing the same thing with credit cards which they do hundreds of times in a week? The problem is motivation, checking an illegal once is a burden because it deprives you of cheap labor, running a similar process for credit cards is not a burden because you want the credit fast for a sale. Let’s try another excuse because the one you gave is a lame one. I can see why in history the merchant class in many societies are ranked just above entertainers and slaves.

I gave up on him a while ago.

For me it was the trifecta immediately after 911 when he did nothing about the border, went to a mosque to praise Islam as a "religion of peace," while the smoke was still billowing from the New York rubble, then started talking about Iraq and the "Iraqi people" constantly.

I don't care at all for his deceptive newspeak about the borders and our sovereignty, "work Americans won't do," I'm against amnesty," his contemptible line about "vigilantes," referring to American citizens, etc.

To me, it's difficult to listen to this, know what he is up to and trust him on anything else.
