“Don’t think this is too easy. They have to learn mountains of stuff about the law.”

Like what the amendments to the Constitution are and what is probable cause to search a residence for proper storage of firearms?
Excuse me the DA seems to believe that a warrant might not be needed in those cases. My bad

You might be surprised what some cops think of the DA. They don't always get to do things the way they think they should be done.

I'm not trying to get into a long discussion on this. Nor am I offering a blanket defense of the police. But I think you might be somewhat surprised to know how often they are put between a rock and a hard place by the various [superior] competing legal authorities they are subject to.

An Administrative Assistant is the newer title used instead of Secretary. Short term is “Admin”. It is usually one step down from an Office Manager. It is not a Management position — but a clerical one.

Sounds about just right for this so-called “Principal”. Alhtough I cannot imagine how she could show up to take phone calls and give hall passes to students when the day before, she ran the school. Interesting..

I am aware of what the rank and file think about the DA, but wonder how far their conscience will let them go before someone says enough is enough ie: being ordered to carry out what is an essentially an illegal order. “I was only carrying out orders” didn’t work in 1945 but I am afraid that is no longer the case.

Is that the test; trying to find a workable link?
