Unfortunately, this is most likely a publicity stunt cooked up between ‘Moore(on)’ and ‘Winestain’.

Excellent if true, but I do not think that it will be done.

Michael Moore should make a movie about losing weight.

Of course the government should keep their hands off his film, and I doubt this "story" is anything more than what he usually peddles--lies.

No it isn't. Treasury is run by idiots. All they have done by taking him on is raising the profile of his film exponentially. Now all they need to do is "seize" prints of the film to make Moore into a worldwide hero for free speech--and it will be seen on the internet un-cut anyway. Is there anyone with a brain in this Administration?

He added that he feared that if the film were impounded, there might be attempts to cut some footage, in particular the last 20 minutes, which related to a trip to Cuba

What a crock, and a lame attempt to raise interest.

“it’s about time we got tough with this traitor.”

Why? Unwittingly on their parts, he and Al Gore are, in the long run, a conservative’s best friends.

Their “documentaries” are so FOS that the resulting backlash and associated truthful debate only serves the conservative cause.

People are catching on to what nitwits these people really are.

US government trying to seize new Michael Moore film, says producer

In their dreams!

This is a second rate PR stunt by third rate players.

Anyone who seriously believes what is in his films needs some serious shock therapy. All of his movies have been discredited and have more than likely not made a dime of profit.

Only the seriously insane and the French buy what he is peddling. I’m guessing it’s true, there is one born every minute.

Uh-huh, and everyone involved in its production gets dragged to the camps, including Wardrobe Assistant for the Best Boy’s Key Grip.

Even if Moore were to be liable for unauthorized travel to Cuba (journalists are exempt anyway!), why would the gummint seize the film as a punishment, as opposed to backing a pallet loader up to Moore and seizing him instead. Even Gonzales wouldn’t be that stupid.

Moore's underlying thesis in Sicko relates to the structure of American society. "Others see themselves as a collective that sinks or swims together," he told Variety.

You know? In all of the European ferry disasters that I have read about in resent years I have never read that all of the survivors decided that even though there were life boats and life jackets for most of them that they should all drown because not all of them would survive.

Year after year socialized medicine gets worse and worse.

Moore is a propagandist for profit while stumping for communism. What an opportunist.

After the dropping of the spectacular bomb called “Grind House”
the Whinesteins will resort to any stunt possible to try to shore up their financial mess.

Greetings balch3:

For the sake of preventing global warming, substitute each frame of a Mikey Moron.org film for one sheet of toilet paper in the Sheryl Crowe bathrooms.

I find it ridiculous and a lie that the government is getting involved in this. The government has more important things to worry about then a fictional story about American medicine even though it is being put out as a documentary. Let the public decide to see or not see it. That is the American way!!!!!
