He sticks to the Constitution. Are you saying that is NOT part of the Republican Party platform? If ya are, I’d have to agree with you.

There is plenty of oil in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as other places in the world, and there is no reason why the U.S. couldn’t work toward the development of more alternatives to oil then. With planning, our choice did not have to be “economic suicide” or support of a dictator.
Actually, it would be fascinating to see you expel as much energy into formulating plans and policies to reduce our alliances with despots as you spend justifying them ... By the way, how did coddling Saddam end up paying off in regards to Iran? Didn’t really eliminate the Iranian threat, did it?

We settled and colonized America, so it’s quite different from the role we had in Asia in the early 20th century.

Well it didn't work out that way pal, so 'woulda-shoulda-coulda' accomplishes nothing.

Don't you worry about how I expend my energy. I'm quite comfortable debunking the nonsense you and your ilk sling around.

By the way, how did coddling Saddam end up paying off in regards to Iran? Didn’t really eliminate the Iranian threat, did it?

It prevented Iran from becoming the dominant power in the Middle East at the end of the Iran/Iraq War, and ending up in total effective control of the Straits of Hormuz.

That's a matter of historical fact, I suggest you read up on it.

Its because Rudy is basically a one issue candidate which plays in to strengthen, he is willing for Paul to make a dopey statement such that he can latch on it and project his strength when it is clear there are major weakness in his campaign.
