I dislike Carter immensely, but its hard to argue with his conclusion.

You must not have been alive when Carter was president.

Totally agree , great post . Carter is a fool on a grand scale. He is directly responsible for the mees the world is in right now. I doubt there would be a world terrorism problem had he not been president .

I can’t imagine Bush having a single person supporting him at this point . I’m serious , his rating HAS to be at 0% this week. what the hell is Bush doing to us , we who fought for him time and time again .

Carter never met a left wing dictator he didn’t support. He’s an embarrassment. How much better the world would be today if the white trash peanut farmer had never been elected. He and his goofy wife should be on their hands and knees in gratitude that they were not tarred and feathered and run out of Washington DC. How old is the b@$tard?

It started on his first friggin' day in office when he allowed the cowardly, scumbag draft dodgers to crawl back home. I've hated him ever since.

REMEMBERING VIETNAM - CARTER'S PARDON
[snip] ... "Just a day after Jimmy Carter's inaguration, he followed through on a contentious campaign promise, granting a presidential pardon to those who had avoided the draft during the Vietnam war by either not registering or traveling abroad."

"The pardon meant the government was giving up forever the right to prosecute what the administration said were hundreds of thousands of draft-dodgers."

2nd worst, behind Carter’s.

I agree, only Bush's Supreme Court picks separate him from Carter at this point.

Will one Conservative finally respond to Jimmy Carter or will Carter continue to get a free pass?

Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. Without doubt, the Carter presidency will be viewed as the worst of the 20th century if not of all time. Even Nixon could be credited with extending detante to China. The legacy of the Carter presidency will always be the unending hostage crisis in Iran and the worst economic conditions since the Great Depression.
