FACT: The White House cares more about La Raza than FRepublic

I wonder if the screamers realize that when they make this sort of hyper hysteric overly emotional accusation about 2/3s of people who MIGHT otherwise listen to them, dismiss them as hysteric tin foil hat wackos who are motived more by racial bigotry then any serious beef about immigration?

If the Antis want to be taken seriously by the bulk of the American people they need to serious UP the rational portion of their posting and tone WAY back on the hyper emotional nonsensical ranting.

Preaching to the choir may make the Antis all feel better, it does nothing to convince people to support their agenda. The Antis need to tone WAY back on the hysteric rhetoric. It does WAY more harm then good to their cause.

There is no job Americans will not do.

Americans will do any job that might be had.

MYTH: Freepers are making ‘overly emotional accusation(s)’.

FACT: La Raza had veto power over a secret bill.
That is caring ‘more about La Raza’.

FACT: The White has screwed America, alienated its base,
but has consolidated the likelihood of its impeachment
and conviction by Democrats.

Bad chinese food? So what! No more Customs Enforcement.
I am now hearing that by the end of the summer--and likely before--there will be no more "Customs" in ICE--Immigration and Customs Enforcement. What was once the nation's oldest and most successful law enforcement agency (U.S. Customs Service) will be absolutely kaput.

To: MNJohnnie; All

I agree with your point.

If we focus like a laser on the important points of this issue, it will go a long way toward getting the results that are better for all Americans.

What are those important points? Immigration legislation in its final form must provide for the following:

improved border security and enforcement;

immediate detention and deportation of those crossing our borders illegally;

deportation of any illegal alien convicted of a serious crime;

a temporary-worker program (with reliable documentation a prerequisite) to meet the current demand for unskilled labor;

CRIPPLING penalties against employers who hire illegal aliens;

no extension of amnesty and fast-track citizenship (new applicants to the back of the line);

preservation of our tax-subsidized medical, educational and social services for American citizens and immigrants here legally—NO EXCEPTIONS;

Americanization of new legal immigrants (hence preserving American culture);

and the removal of birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens.

By removing the benefits we are extending to ILLEGAL immigrants, we can—by attrition—begin to turn the tide on this issue.

It is difficult to vent and try and explain the immigration debacle without coming down hard on GW and those who don't see the light.

I have tried my best and so far have been able to continue to support GW(since I am sworn to do so anyway) but it is difficult considering what we all know and have read so many times here on FR concerning the immigration debacle.

But you are right it is always a better strategy to take the smartest path to getting what we want,and typically what is best for the country.

IMHO, currently that would be to supporting the strongest of candidates who want border and other security for the U.S. and have a winnable chance to become potus in 08.

For me that's Hunter or Thompson, maybe even Newt. Looks like I missed a darn good thread can't wait until Sunday.
